Patient and compassionate, Russ brings to the counseling relationship an ability to connect with his clients and help them know they are not alone on the journey.  He has over 25 years’ experience as a pastor, counselor, teacher, speaker, husband and father.  He has a Master’s in Counseling as well as Theology and is Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon.  Russ has worked with couple’s in premarital and marital counseling and is certified in Prepare/Enrich relationship assessment, is certified in Therapy with Adoptive and Foster Families, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor.   He has worked with clients dealing with addiction issues, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia as well as life adjustment issues.  As a father of 7, including 5 adopted children, he has experience working with adoption, family adjustment and attachment issues.
